Membership Types
Member
The membership of this association shall consist of fire department officers of greater than Company Officer rank. This will include the Chief of the department, Assistant, Deputy, Battalion and District Chiefs, Superintendents or Head of Service Divisions in the departments, having responsibility commensurate with the title of Chief. Any organized Fire Department that has coverage area in Greenville County may request membership into the Association.
Associate Member
The State Fire Marshal or Deputy, Greenville County Forestry Supervisor and assistant, Fire Brigade Chief, and Assistant from local Fire Brigades. Any Municipal, County or State Official or Public Utilities Official may be eligible for membership in the association as an Associate Member. Any individual who is a representative of a fire apparatus manufacturer, supplies, equipment, or services provider may be considered a Corporate Sponsor. Corporate Sponsor and Associate Members shall not enjoy voting privileges.
Honorary Member
Any individual member of this association meeting the definition of Member and retires while in good standing, may retain membership in this association. Upon such retirement, the said member shall be designated as an Honorary Member.
Corporate Sponsor
Any industry related vendor who wishes to join the Association may do so upon approval of the Executive Board. Corporate Sponsorship is an annual membership.
